Mark R. Chaffee, CMP

As a native Vermonter, Mark grew up in Essex Junction and graduated from UVM with a Business Administration degree. He now lives in Burlington with his wife, Lori, and daughter, Emma. Mark has been Vice President of Mortgage Financial since 1993. Mark was named one of the Top 25 Mortgage Originators Nationwide in 2010 by the Scotsman Guide and Origination News. He is a founding member of the Vermont Bankers Association in 1994. He also has served as both an Officer and Board Member of the Association. Mark is a Certified Mortgage Professional (CMP) and a Registered Mortgage Advisor (RMA) with the International Association of Registered Financial Consultants. Less than one percent of all mortgage officers nation wide have received the training for this certification. Most importantly, Mark is dedicated to assisting all of his clients to develop the best mortgage plan that meets their needs.

Jay Vallieres, Mortgage Advisor

Jay has an extensive knowledge of investor guidelines, first time homebuyer programs and government loan products. This allows him to orginate loans for new and existing clients and prepare loans for underwriting.

Lauren Zani, Processor

Lauren is the main contact for the borrower after the application. She answers any questions a client may have about the documentation needed for the financing approval.

Christy Hill, Receptionist

Christy is the one you and other clients talk to whe you call the Vermont office. She also answers any general questions a client may have. Christy also organizes all of the application documentation for processing and underwriting.
